I cannot say enough good things about Mia and Carley at South Beach Tanning! As a first-timer, I walked in with a million questions and more than a few insecurities, and they made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. Both Mia and Carley took the time to thoroughly explain the whole tanning process to me, answering every single question I had with genuine patience and kindness. What impressed me most was their attentiveness—even when another customer came in, they made sure to finish our conversation properly before politely helping the next person. I never once felt rushed or like I was being a burden. They created such a welcoming, judgment-free environment where I felt completely comfortable sharing my concerns. Not once did they make me feel stupid for asking questions—instead, they were understanding, encouraging, and truly seemed to care about making sure I had the best possible experience. This is the kind of customer service that turns a nervous first-timer into a loyal, returning customer. Mia and Carley(I may have the incorrect spelling, I apologize if so) are absolute gems, and South Beach Tanning is lucky to have them. They don’t just provide a service—they make you feel valued and taken care of. If you’re looking for knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely caring professionals, ask for Mia and Carley. They deserve all the recognition and success coming their way!

MAYA IS AMAZING! I started tanning in November and my results have been astronomical! I love the atmosphere, the beds and stand ups are always super clean, she’s super sweet! I looove it hereee!
I have been tanning at South Beach in Alachua for just over a year , I find the beds to be HOT and in good working order, the staff are TOP NOTCH , very friendly and knowledgeable, the pricing is very competitive and they are always running some type of special, Maya the manager runs a great salon , she also is a joy to talk , not to take anything away from the other staff, Maya is my FAVORITE , not only is she BEAUTIFUL she has infectious LAUGH, I hope you give them a try and become a MEMBER.

Savannah was the best. Very informative about the pricing/ discounts. She helped me pick the best level for the price and also helped pick a great smelling tanning lotion. I would definitely recommend seeing savannah for your tanning needs.
I got the best spray tan of my life at this location. Right before my wedding and non on the tanning salons near me were up and running. The lady behind the front desk was so sweet and wonderful, made sure everything was perfect. The best experience I’ve had in a very long time. I will continue to come back to this location instead of my closer location!
