The girls are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The beds are very strong and the beds get the bulbs replaced often.

I wish that this tanning salon was treated just as good as the other South Beaches in Florida. Why isn't Gainesville's South Beach receiving any newer or updated beds that function properly and don't have to keep calling people in to try to fix the beds issues. I've been a customer now for 2 years and I'm paying for the highest package/membership you can receive with them and I'm starting to wonder if it's even worth it anymore. Come on higher ups, please give some attention to Gainesvilles salon 🙏🏼 ... We really could use some functioning/updated beds.

I cannot say enough good things about Mia and Carley at South Beach Tanning! As a first-timer, I walked in with a million questions and more than a few insecurities, and they made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. Both Mia and Carley took the time to thoroughly explain the whole tanning process to me, answering every single question I had with genuine patience and kindness. What impressed me most was their attentiveness—even when another customer came in, they made sure to finish our conversation properly before politely helping the next person. I never once felt rushed or like I was being a burden. They created such a welcoming, judgment-free environment where I felt completely comfortable sharing my concerns. Not once did they make me feel stupid for asking questions—instead, they were understanding, encouraging, and truly seemed to care about making sure I had the best possible experience. This is the kind of customer service that turns a nervous first-timer into a loyal, returning customer. Mia and Carley(I may have the incorrect spelling, I apologize if so) are absolute gems, and South Beach Tanning is lucky to have them. They don’t just provide a service—they make you feel valued and taken care of. If you’re looking for knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely caring professionals, ask for Mia and Carley. They deserve all the recognition and success coming their way!

Been going here for years, for the spray tan. Love their shades of tan, never orange like other places. Staff is always friendly.
Clean place. Helpful employees. No foot things for feet in spray tanner and no spray deodorant like in other Southbeqch tanning salons but tanner worked well.
Hayley the manager is amazing. Always has a smile on her face when you come in, and is very helpful if you have questions. All the staff are very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend South Beach Tanning
