Love the staff! They are so friendly and remember me now after only a couple of visits. Never have to wait for a bed either. They have tons to choose from, which is rare for S. Tampa. Clean, professional, and friendly! Oh, and they enforce the parking lot rules so customers always have parking available. Folks sometimes attempt to park here for other businesses around them, but the signs are clearly marked all over about the potential for towing.
This is one of my favorite places! 🤗 Maria is super friendly and always very helpful. This is the spot for when you don’t have time to sit out! LOL

Rachel was very professional and polite and knowledgeable in letting me know all about my Membership, tanning lotion, etc. Salon is very clean and neat. They carry all the new popular tanning products and supplies. Great job South Beach tanning.!!

Rachel gave the best advice for my spray tan! I am so pleased with how it came out. She told me the exact lotion and level of tanning to select for it to come out brown versus orange. I highly recommend this location.
I recently moved back to Miami Beach but had difficulty finding a decent tanning salon in the area. I went back to South Beach Tanning Company and was not disappointed. They offer great deals and, most importantly, beds are strong and effective. I always leave beautifully bronzed and never burned.
I waiting until like 4:30 on a Saturday to find a tanning place. Went to one….didnt take Apple Pay (I only had my phone and car keys). Stopped at the bank for cash found one still open. Got there it’s a membership place. I said can’t I just get one. Yeah $40 so I point two twenties in her direction….we don’t take cash. At this point I was beyond. Googled third place…SOUTH BEACH TANNING COMPANY and headed there. Went from downtown sarasota to bee ridge and Beneva back downtown then to university and Tuttle finally east of 75 on st rd 70! I walked in and at this point I had to go to the bathroom. I could hear someone cleaning somewhere so I headed down the hall “where’s your bathroom”. No lie, it was the cleanest bathroom (private or public) I’ve been to. You could tell it was freshly cleaned too. Head back up and met the most charming associate ever, Haley. I gotta tell you after driving around for two hours and finally getting what I wanted and better is a really good moment. Yay Haley. Yay Haley’s tanning place! Thank you. You’re now my only one. Christie Abbott BTW the room and bed were perfect too.
South Beach Tanning Company on Alton Road is hands down the best tanning establishment I’ve ever been to. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely welcome and treated me with the utmost respect. The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and professional. You can really tell they care about their clients and take pride in their service. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great tanning experience!

EDIT : I'd like to extend a special thank you and sense of appreciation to one particular employee, Grace. I am in no way discrediting the other employees, t's just that Grace happened to be the one that was there nearly every time I went in, and I'm keeping my word to her. So far so good! I know I'm not young anymore, and I definitely don't have the chiselled body I did when I was younger, so I was a little apprehensive about even going in. I thought I would feel really awkward and out of place so I was a bit anxiety ridden, but the staff was great! They were not only patient with me, they also made me feel very comfortable and that was more important than anything, and I value that a lot. They are super nice, very helpful, professional, and they explained and answered any questions I had, and didn't hesitate to show me where to go and how to operate the features of the beds. Having a great staff in any customer service oriented type business is essential, and you guys have done a great job at hiring the right people. Much appreciated!
